Junko Bindhany:
- Was borne in Tokyo August 1953.
- Met with Shri. Yogachariya B.K.S Iyengar in Pune India in 1981.
- Since then has been directly trained by him till now at Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Institute in Pune.
- Is married and lives with an Indian husband and a son.
- Has been studying how human body and human physiology are interrelated through the study of Indian philosophy and yoga practice, putting importance on family life.
- Based on such study, has been teaching yoga, focusing on what human happiness is.
- Has been teaching greatness of yoga to wide range of people such as nurse mid-wives, pregnant women, mothers who are raising children, busy office workers in IT industry, self-employed people, free lancers, actors, actresses and dancers.
